The Antipodean Witch subscription box: magick for the Southern Hemisphere
Updated: Nov 8, 2018
Below is the first picture I saw from The Antipodean Witches Instagram account. It bought to mind the cold seas I've visited in New South Wales and Victoria. It also reminded me of the powerful presence the ocean has in the film The Piano by Jane Campion.
I really did squeal when I realised that the Antipodean Witch is a subscription box made for Southern Hemisphere witches. Finally we have a witchy box made with our seasons in mind.

I've watched an obscene amount of The Witches Moon unboxings on Youtube.
The quality of the items gets me every time, like hand rolled candles covered in glitter, pagan-as-fuck candle holders, anointing oils, high quality crystals, themed incense as well as big items like the Hermetic tarot and golden statues of goddesses like Fortuna. Despite being in a perpetual lather about The Witches Moon subscription box, I did yearn for a box with my seasons in mind.
The Antipodean Witch box is filling that need. They sold out of their first box that launched a last month. That's huge for such a new business.
I can tell from Instagram that a lot of other people are feel the same enthusiasm I am.

This particular monthly subscription box is thoughtfully curated with goodies that will enhance anyone's practice. The box is focused on moon rituals and specific positive intentions for the month. The theme of each box is aligned with the season and the full moon for the upcoming month. It is tailored specifically to the needs of Southern Hemisphere witches (goddess! yes!).
I'm can't wait to get my witchy box and review what's in their second box. The cut off for this box is the end of July or when they sell out. Which ever comes first.
As a side note, I recently learnt that there is a local subscription box made here in Melbourne for witches called the Witches Chest. I don't have any experience with Earthly Alchemy's subscription box but regardless, I'm pumped there are more options for pagans in Australians and New Zealanders.

Blessings.
